EKF website improvements, online training registration and squad session payments.

In an age where communication and information is constantly being updated, it is important that the EKF does the same. You may have noticed over the last few days the EKF website has had some changes. Firstly, there are now drop down menus at the top of the main page for links to different sections making navigation easier. Photos, videos and reports from past championships from 2007 onwards, are now available on the site too. The website is now fully mobile-friendly across all platforms on devices such as smartphones and tablets, so you can read the latest news and updates whilst on the move.

Notably there is now an online form for National Kumite / Kata / Youth Kata, Regional Kumite & Regional Kata. This will make it much easier to register for sessions, it guarantees delivery and there is no more need to download forms and scan back. There has been a lot of work done behind the scenes to modernise the website and we’d like to thank our webmaster Jel for doing this.

Coming shortly: A rotating photo/news slider for the latest news and up-and-coming items and events and a Facebook feed too for news bites and instant updates.

Payments for training sessions will now have to be made directly to the EKF by BACs transfer or bank deposits. Payments will be required for the online form registration (payment details will be on the relevant squad page). There will be no facility to pay on the day or turn up without payment and registration having first been received by the EKF. When making payments you will need to include a reference by including the name of the person, date of the session and which session eg J Bloggs 1/1/16 Nthn Kumite. In the future we hope to have online payments through the website to make things easier for the user.
