EKF Coaching
The new EKF instructor qualification will be trialled via a pilot project involving the NSPCC in March 2015. Following this trial project, there will be an evaluation and the qualification will be rolled out nationally.
There will initially be two levels of the new qualification: Level One which involves attending an EKF training course and Level two which includes completing a nationally accredited QCF qualification. Both levels require the candidate to complete the relevant training, hold a current First Aid certificate, Child Protection Training certificate, a satisfactory DBS disclosure and suitable insurance before being eligible to apply for the EKF Instructor card which will be the measure of quality and compliance regarding Karate Instruction. Please check back here for further updates at the end of JULY 2015.
