DIRECTIONS TO SPORTS CENTRE & PREMIER INN
Leave the M1 at Junction 37, head into Barnsley on the A 628.
At the bottom of this road is a large roundabout, take the 2nd exit ( you can see the Premier Inn here on your left)
Follow the road through the town centre, at the next roundabout, go straight forwards and head onto the A 635 (Huddersfield road)
After 1/2 a mile, you will see a turn off to the right, take this (cockeram lane, note poor sign post!)
If you miss this turn off take the next right (Cavendish road, then turn right)
Then turn onto Honeywell lane. The sport centre is at the bottom of this road on your right.
You can park anywhere on the campus, if that is full then park on the road and walk upto the sports hall.

Please note: A SNACK BAR WILL BE AVAILABLE 10 am - 3 pm
They will serve coffee, tea, cold sandwiches, soups, water, and other snacks etc.
There are also machines that do the usual energy drinks and snacks.
NOTE: There are no eating facilities around the sports centre, that is why we have laid on the kitchen.

Kumite
Cadet , Junior & Senior – ‘A’ Squad - Compulsory
Open Session 12yrs + for Kata 13yrs+ Kumite

Fee £10.00 to be paid on the day training only
Fee £15.00 Selecting & Training

This is a compulsory session for the kata/kumite 'a' squad and the squad that the National Coach will have chosen for the forthcoming Senior World Championships.

For those that have not done so already please bring your competition & fitness tracking forms to this session.

The forms must be fully completed & returned by 31st August 2010, you may send either by email or post, if by post then please send to 'Squad Selections' EKF PO BOX 4372 Hornchurch RM12 9BN.

Confirmation by email will be sent on 31 August or 1st September only.

Please ensure you are of the correct age and weight category for the Europeans. The date of the competition is to be confirmed but should be end of January beginning of February 2011, if you are taking exams please check with your school before selecting.

If you are on any medication you must inform Surdhar Mohinder mocentclinic@btinternet.com If you are taking medication e.g. ventolin for Asthma etc you must get a spirometry test done and bring resulting paper work with you before the October session. There is always a possibility at any competition of a drugs test. Please note the Junior European championships is self funding!
