24th World Senior Championships. Madrid, Spain. 6-11 November 2018

Day 4 - 10/02/11 - Last Training Day

Day 4 - 10/02/11 - Last Training DayThis was the final day of training before the competition gets underway tomorrow. The squad once again had a light hearted yet focused session in a relaxed atmosphere.

There were many more teams practicing at the SPENS sports stadium today all preparing for that final push.

The registration of the athletes took place today along withthe coaches briefing. The coaches were instructed to bring all Karate Gi's belonging to the competitors with them as their participation country (ENG in case there was any doubt) was being sowed onto the back. Not entirely sure this was ok with many of the squad members, especially the Kata competitors who had paid dearly for their specialised Karate Gis.

At the coaches briefing the customary draws take place. Please go to the WKF site where these draws are available to view.

This is it, the lull before the storm. Tomorrow the Cadets compete. Up first will be Aimee & Chris with Emma competing in the U21 Female Kata along side her Kata teammates.

Good luck squad, it's all down to you now.
