I work in the MASH (multi agency safeguarding hub) and I work with social care, police, and other agencies to ensure that any concerns raised about children or adults are dealt with in a timely manner, and safety measures are put in place to safeguard the individual. I have worked for Wolverhampton Homes for 13 years and been in the MASH for 3 years. I am married and have 2 children, my daughter is 22 yrs old and my son who is 18, does karate and has represented his country in Russia in 2018. This is something we are very proud of.

Gregg Peers

My name is Gregg and within my current role as Clinical Governance and Quality Manager in the NHS, a key daily aspect is safeguarding (reviewing daily incident reports and escalating as appropriate). Furthermore, each Quarter I send to the Trust Executives a Governance and Quality Report for the Elective Care Division. This report encompasses all areas of governance however, there is a specific section on Safeguarding which covers incidents received, themes and trends, lessons learned, mandatory and statutory training figures, quality improvement schemes and a host of other information. I also receive regular updates from the Trust Safeguarding Committee where the Nurse Director represents the Division. I have completed the mandatory safeguarding training with the Trust and I am required to complete this on an annual basis. Moreover, I have been regularly DBS checked as part of my role and I have attended training courses for PREVENT and FGM.
