EKF Coaching Accreditation Clarification
With regards to the recent coaching course held the EKF wish to announce the following:
With regards to the Coaching accreditation requirement this was misleading, the EKF intend that only association accredited coaches will be permitted to coach at forthcoming championships. Associations mush have their coaches accreditation by 31 December 2009.
In the interim we the EKF will allow association coaches to coach at National Championships. Further courses to be announced.
The board of Directors are currently finalising the new coaching program which is planned to commence on 01 April 2009.
As an interim measure, the board have agreed to accept previous coaching qualifications in the interim period whilst the new coaching framework is finalised. Associations should register their coaches on the registration form which is available on the website. Coaches Certificates will be available for all such registered coaches free of charge, The registration document must be submitted and signed by the appropriate Association Coaching Officer or Chief Instructor. No registrations will be accepted from individuals without a counter signature from their Chief Instructor or their nominated deputy.
