European Masters Games 2008 In Malmö, Sweden
To all Karatekas in Europe that are +35 years! Come and show that you still have the spirit. This will be the number ONE event for all karatekas that are 35 years and older. European Master Games has 28 sports and karate will be one. You can compete in Kata (you can use the same kata in all rounds) or Kumite (2 minute fights) and we are using the WKF rules. Registration ends August 15 2008.

Please note that if you require parking Sunday the 7th September in Sheffield for the BKF's, the 'Great Yorkshire Run' is taking place in Sheffield town centre from 9am until 12 noon and certain roads will be closed due to this race. The roads into Ponds Forge will be closed from 8.30am until 12.30pm. Alternative parking will be available at the NCP car park only between these times next to the Novotel, which is 10 minutes walk to the centre.
Also as an alternative the Park & Ride will be in operation plus trams go direct to Ponds forge main entrance (5 mins). The Park & Ride is next to both junctions 33 & 34 off the M1 motorway. Ponds Forge management are opening early for anyone wishing to use the Cafe for breakfast at 7.30am, the doors to the competition will open earlier at 8:30am for a 9.30am start.
All the other car parks will be open until 8.30am only and will reopen at 12.30pm.
