About the English Karate Federation
The EKF is set-up as a democratically elected body for English Karate to cover the whole spectrum of our martial art and to further develop an understanding administration that listens to the needs of all the many aspects of Karate from Sport to Traditional, from the youngest beginner to the most senior instructor.
The EKF is recognised as the official governing body for English Karate by:
- British Karate Federation
- European Karate Federation
- World Karate Federation
The EKF's dedicated administration service offers the best advice on the needs of its member Associations for complex issues such as Insurance, Child Welfare Policy, CRB checks, Dan & Club registration and Instructor checks. Complimenting this is the determination of the EKF to build and maintain a reliable and responsible financial policy that will benefit all its members. The EKF welcomes applications for membership from all English Karate Associations and Clubs that accept its rules and regulations.
